_DSC0826raw.jpg

Spectators stand along a barrier separating Playalinda Beach from Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center. They are watching the launch of an Atlas V rocket, which is carrying the U.S. Air Force's fourth Block 2F navigation satellite for the Global Positioning System. The rocket is in the sky, and smoke from the blastoff remains on the launch pad.
