Beirut, Lebanon - September 23, 2010: A Muslim woman walks into the American University of Beirut (AUB), founded in 1866. The educational philosophy, standards, and practices of AUB are based on the American liberal arts model of higher education; it has around 700 instructional faculty and a student body of around 8,000 students.
