After slipping a time or two, a woman from Germany, accompanied by her dog, removes her shoes before continuing her descent on the muddy ground several kilometers from Roncesvalles, Spain. One of the more challenging stretches of the Camino de Santiago is the 24 kilometers over the Pyrenees from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, in France, to Roncesvalles. (May 28, 2018)
