A boy watches the swirl of tourists inside the Ayasofya, or Hagia Sophia, in Istanbul, Turkey. A church built in the 6th century during the Byzantine era, it was converted into a mosque in the wake of the Ottoman takeover in 1453. In 1935 it was turned into a musuem. (July 25, 2010)
