Rohingya refugee crisis (2017) { 27 images } Created 5 Mar 2018

In the two months beginning August 25, 2017, some 600,000 Rohingya Muslims fled Myanmar into Bangladesh, crowding into rapidly constructed refugee camps in the countryside near the city of Cox's Bazar. Persecuted in Myanmar, the Rohingya are a stateless people whose future remains tenuous.
