Jose Raul Santeliz, standing in the Teotihuacan Archaeological Site in Teotihuacan, Mexico. Located 30 miles northeast of Mexico City, Teotihuacan was once an important pre-Columbian Mesoamerican city. Jose sells souvenirs at the park, and told me he appears in a short scene in the 1989 film Old Gringo, starring Jane Fonda and Gregory Peck. The Pyramid of the Sun is visible over his left shoulder.
