The Museum of Fallen Soldiers in Stepanakert, capital of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh (Karabakh). The museum is dedicated to the thousands of Armenians who lost their lives in the Nagorno-Karabakh War that ended in 1994. The war ended in a ceasefire, but Azerbaijan still maintains its claim, if not control, over the territory.
