Paris, France - November 26, 2021: Patrycja Greczyło, from Poland, stands in front of Jacques-Louis David's 1799 painting "The Intervention of the Sabine Women," which hangs in the Louvre. The painting depicts the moment when women halt a battle between their Roman husbands and the Sabine men who have come on an unwanted rescue mission. In the middle stands the Sabine woman Hersilia, appealing with one arm toward the Roman Romulus and the other toward the bearded Sabine Tatius.
