Rummu Quarry, Estonia - July 28, 2015: People visit Rummu quarry in Estonia. For many years the quarry was used as a mining site for Vasalemma marble (a kind of limestone). An adjacent Soviet-era prison supplied most of the workforce. When the quarry and prison closed, so did the pumps that kept the quarry free of rising ground water. Today it is a lake, and a popular place to swim and dive
