Two Christian nuns prepare apricots to be made into apricot jam at the Greek Orthodox monastery of St. Thecla (Mar Takla), which is located in the small town of Maalula (Maaloula), one of the few Aramaic-speaking communities in the world. In addition to the grave of Saint Thecla, the convent is home to a small orphanage for girls.
