A passenger on one fibreglass banana boat, traveling between the towns of Vanimo and Aitape on the north coast of Papua New Guinea, waves to another boat on the same route. Given the lack of a good road on this part of the north coast, the 3-4 hour boat journey is a common means of transport between the two towns. (July 19, 2017)
